Greetings from Asbury Park!

From day one to this very morning, it has been our absolute pleasure to be here, and we cannot express enough how grateful we are for everyone’s patronage and support. A born-again mecca for good food and great friends, the honor is all ours to have joined the fabric of this little city.

You’ve probably noticed that our Asbury location has been closed Monday through Wednesday, and we think it’s time to let you in on the secret – we’re growing!

In an effort to take the best care of our favorite people (you!) we’ve decided to focus our energy on a bigger space with better potential. As we work toward this change, we are closing our Asbury Park location. For the time being, our Asbury location will host only wholesale and large pickup orders. Once the big move is set, we’ll let everyone know the new address!

On behalf of all of us here at Red Rose, thank you for showing us the true spirit of Asbury Park. We look forward to welcoming you all to our new home :)

I was so happy when I found Red Rose because I didn’t have to go back to Brooklyn for my baked goods. Melissa’s products are the best and the closest I’ve found to the quality and taste of Brooklyn and I go to Red Rose at least twice a week to stock up; I especially love their seven-layer cookies and Italian bread and they make the best pignoli cookies I’ve ever tasted.. You can smell the aroma of the different baked goods and fillings as soon as you walk in and once you go there and taste it, you’ll be like ‘wow!’ It’s just an awesome experience.

This might be a dupe review, but had to let people know about this family own restaurant/diner. Easy to find and parking. Clean establishment, friendly staff and the owner is there and talks to all. OH they make their own pies. Fair pricing and big portions, recommend it highly.

I ordered a gender reveal cake…I asked for the inside cake to be pink but that wasn’t the case they put pink icing in the middle instead…the cake smelt like old cheese as soon as we smashed a piece to reveal the center. No one ate the cake because of how bad it smelt. I appreciated the way the cake looked.. it was pretty on the outside but I’m truly disappointed. The icing in the middle of the cake was very thick and very hard..it was10x thicker than the actual cake..I don’t think I would come here for a cake ever again but the cookies were good.

Ordered a cheesecake for my son's birthday. It was ready when requested and so delicious. Can't wait to go back to try other yummy treats. The cases were stocked with all kinds of yummy looking pastries and cookies

Ordered a butter creme birthday cake. Foul smell coming from the creme. Most of the guests would not eat it. I did have some and was sick to myp stomach that night. Called the bakery, the girl I spoke to was not interested and when I asked for the owner I was told that we don't know when the owner would be in. I asked for a call back. It's been two weeks and no response at all.
